The gazebo on the beautifully manicured lawn, just outside the main building at Anchor Village in Shippenville, Pennsylvania, was the location for the Thursday, June 21, 2012 wedding ceremony of Jason Szybka and Beverly McAnallen. Bev and Jason exchanged vows at 3:30, with Reverend Larry Goyda officiating, with prelude and ceremony music being provided by Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment. Musician, Amanda Noah, lent her guitar and beautiful vocals to the ceremony, as the couple, along with their families, built the Unity Cross.
Bev and Jason’s reception immediately followed, with their bridal party entering to “Crazy Train”, by Ozzy Osbourne, while Jason and Beverly made their grand entrance, accompanied by “Rock And Roll Train”, by AC/DC.
Anchor Village looked absolutely stunning in a vintage military theme. Digital uplighting provided by Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment was also used to accent the room. Beverly chose “Bright White” as her color, which gave the room a very clean, airy appeal!
I had the pleasure of working with my good friend and photographer, Bethany Boarts, owner of Wedding By Bethany, who, as always, expertly provided the lens work for the evening!
After dinner, which was provided by the staff at Anchor Village, the couple cut their wedding cake, accompanied by “Pour Some Sugar On Me”, by Def Leppard, followed by their first dance together as husband and wife, which was accompanied by a special live acoustic version of, “Make You Feel My Love”, which was sung by the very talented Amanda Noah!
Following their dance, Beverly and her Uncle, Ken McAnallen, danced to “How Do You Fall In Love”, by Alabama, while Jason and his mom, Rose, danced to “A Simple Man”, by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
It was a great pleasure to be a part of Jason and Beverly’s wedding day! The evening concluded with all of their wonderful family and friends joining them on the dance floor to share the last dance of the evening, accompanied by their chosen song, “Your Arms Feel Like Home”, by 3 Doors Down.
As Jason is actively serving in the armed forces, and must be back on base in Jacksonville, North Carolina on Monday morning, the couple will enjoy their honeymoon in the future!
