Jason and Katie Swope Wedding Reception at The Butler Days Inn in Butler, Pennsylvania
November 12, 2011 was another beautiful day in western Pennsylvania! It was also the wedding day of Jason Swope and Katie Herman! Jason and Katie exchanged vows at Grace Methodist Church in Grove City, Pennsylvania, in a 2:30 ceremony which was officiated by Pastor Steve Morris.
Their wedding reception took place at the Butler Days Inn, with guests arriving at 5:00.
The room was stunning, complete with accent lighting provided by Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment. Katie and Jason, chose Vivid Violet as the accent color, which complimented their decor perfectly!
Formal introductions kicked off at 6:00, with parents and grandparents being introduced to “Chapel Of Love”, by The Dixie Cups. The bridal party was then introduced, accompanied by “Let’s Get It Started”, by The Black Eyed Peas. Then, with lasers flashing, Jason and Katie made their grand entrance, accompanied by their chosen song, “Sexy And I Know It”, by LMFAO!
Immediately following their introduction, Katie and Jason cut their wedding cake, accompanied by “I Can’t Help Myself”, by The Four Tops.
I had the pleasure of working, for the first time, with Ben McMillen, owner of McMillen Photography, who expertly provided the lens work for the evening. Also present was Ben’s Quick Pix! Photo Booth, which all of Jason and Katie’s guests totally enjoyed!
After dinner, which was was prepared by the staff at the Butler Days Inn, Katie and Jason shared their first dance together as husband and wife, accompanied by their chosen song, “Then”, by Brad Paisley. Katie then shared a special dance with her dad, Bill, accompanied by “My Little Girl”, by Tim McGraw, followed by Jason’s special dance with his mom, Denise, accompanied by “It’s Your Song”, by Garth Brooks. Formal dances concluded with the entire bridal party joining Katie and Jason on the dance floor, accompanied by “I Won’t Let Go”, by Rascal Flatts.
It was an absolute perfect evening, concluding with all of Jason and Katie’s friends and family sharing the last dance of the night, accompanied by their chosen song, “Save The Last Dance For Me”, by Michael Buble.
Katie and Jason will enjoy their honeymoon in beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaica!
