Michael and Jessica Gorfti Wedding Reception at The Doubletree Hotel in Monroeville, Pennsylvania
Michael Gorfti and Jessica Stark celebrated their wedding day on Saturday, December 17, 2011. Their 3:00 wedding ceremony, located at St. Bernadette Church in Monroeville, Pennsylvania was officiated by Father Anthony Gargotta.
Michael and Jessica’s wedding reception took place at the The Doubletree Hotel, in Monroeville, with guests arriving at 5:00. The room was beautifully decorated in very elegant black and white, complemented with red accents.
Formal introductions kicked off with parents and the bridal party entering to “Party Rock Anthem”, by LMFAO. Jessica and Michael then made their grand entrance, accompanied by “The Time”, by the Black Eyed Peas.
Immediately following their introduction, the bride and groom shared their first dance together as husband and wife, accompanied by “I Do Cherish You”, by 98 Degrees.
I had the pleasure of working again with my friend, Scott Jones, owner of Silverlight Studios Photography, who, as always, expertly provided the lens work for the evening. Shooting video for the event was Gordon Schu, owner of Gordon Schu Video Productions.
After dinner, which was prepared by the wonderful staff at The Doubletree, Jessica and Michael cut their beautiful cake, created by Oakmont Bakery, accompanied by “How Sweet It Is”, by Michael Buble.
Jessica then shared a very special dance with her grandfather, Herb Slaugenhaupt, her dad, Joseph, and her uncle Ed, accompanied by “I Loved Her First”, by Heartland. Michael then shared a special dance with Jessica’s grandmother, Jean Slaugenhaupt, accompanied by “What A Wonderful World”, by Louis Armstrong.
What a great evening at The Doubletree! It was wonderful to be included in Michael and Jessica’s wedding day! The evening concluded with all of their friends and family joining them on the dance floor, accompanied by their chosen song, ”Last Dance”, by Donna Summer.
Jessica and Michael will enjoy their honeymoon in beautiful, sunny Riviera Maya!
