Alex Cascioli and Alexis Buszko Wedding Reception at Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Alex Cascioli and Alexis Buszko celebrated their wedding day on Saturday September 1, 2018. Their 1:00 wedding ceremony, located at Chapel of the Holy Spirit, in Pittsburgh, was officiated by Father Sawicki.

While their guests enjoyed hors-d’oeuvres and cocktails, the couple, along with their families and bridal party, joined Emily Havranek, owner of  Emily Havranek Photography, for a pre-introduction photo session.  Brandon and Shana Roudebush, of  Just Hitched Wedding Films, were also on hand to record every special moment.

Their reception, which took place at the Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom, immediately followed, with parents and the bridal party entering to “I’m Ready”, by AGR.  Alex and Alexis then made their grand entrance, accompanied by “Knock You Down”, by Keri Hilson.

Following introductions, Alex and Alexis cut their wedding cake, with their chosen song, “How Sweet It Is”, by James Taylor, playing in the background.

They then shared their first dance together as husband and wife, accompanied by Joseph Vincent’s excellent version of the Elvis classic, “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.

Alexis and her dad, Bill, then shared a special dance, rockin’ it to “Sweet Child O Mine”, by Guns N Roses, followed by Alex and his mom dancing to “Yellow”, by Coldplay.

After dinner, which was excellently prepared by Parkhurst Catering, the dance floor opened to all guests, with “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, by Justin Timberlake.

I had such a great time with Alex and Alexis, and it was a pleasure to be included in their wedding day! Their evening concluded with their family and all of their wonderful friends joining them on the dance floor, accompanied by “Closing Time”, by Semisonic.

Join me in wishing Alexis and Alex all the best in their new life together!
