Kevin and Stephanie Handy Wedding Reception at the Greensburg Country Club in Jeannette, Pennsylvania
Friday, May 18, 2012 was the wedding day of Kevin Handy and Stephanie Zimmers. The couple exchanged vows in a 4:00 ceremony at Blessed Sacrement Cathedral in Greensburg, which was officiated by Msgr. Raymond E. Riffle.
Their wedding reception took place at the beautiful Greensburg Country Club, with guests arriving at 6:00.
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with George Cherrington, owner of Creative Works Photography, who expertly provided the lens work for the evening.
After their guests enjoyed cocktails, formal introductions kicked off at 6:45, with parents and the bridal party entering to “I Believe In a Thing Called Love”, by The Darkness.
Kevin and Stephanie then made their grand entrance, accompanied by much cheering and clapping, to “I Want You To”, by Weezer.
After dinner, which was was prepared by the wonderful staff at the club, the bride and groom cut their wedding cake, accompanied by “L.O.V.E.”, by Nat King Cole.
Immediately following the cake cutting, Kevin and Stephanie shared their first dance together as husband and wife, accompanied by their chosen song, “What A Wonderful World”, by Louis Armstrong.
Stephanie then shared a special dance with her father, Vaughn, accompanied by ”Surfer Girl”, by The Beach Boys followed by Kevin’s special moment with his mom, dancing to “In My Life”, by The Beatles.
Rounding out this portion of the evening was the bridal party, along with Kevin and Stephanie’s parents, all sharing a group dance, accompanied by “Take My Breath Away”, by Berlin.
It was an absolutely perfect evening, concluding with all of Kevin and Stephanie’s friends and family sharing the last dance of the night, accompanied by their chosen song, ”Celebration”, by Kool and The Gang.
