Matt and Emily McCorkle Wedding Reception at Laube Hall in Freeport, Pennsylvania
Laube Hall, in Freeport, Pennsylvania was the location for Emily Osche and Matt McCorkle’s wedding day celebration. Emily and Matt exchanged vows at Laube Hall on Saturday, October 29, 2011, in a 5:00 wedding ceremony which was officiated by Emily’s grandfather, James Bosworth.
Their reception immediately followed, with parents, the bridal party and Matt and Emily all making their grand entrance, accompanied by thunderous clapping and stomping, to “Thriller”, by Michael Jackson. Very appropriate for an October 29th wedding! Immediately following their introduction, Matt and Emily cut their wedding cake, which was created by Chrissy Knapek of Moios Bakery, accompanied by “Ghostbusters”, by Ray Parker, Jr.
It was great to work again with my friend and photographer, Katie Stutz, owner of Violet Veil Photography, who always does an amazing job behind the lens!
After dinner, which was prepared by the wonderful staff at Dr. Sous Catering, Matt and Emily shared their first dance together as husband and wife, accompanied by “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”, by Elton John. Emily then shared a special dance with her dad, Bill, accompanied by “Return To Pooh Corner”, by Kenny Loggins. Matt’s special dance with his mom, Cheryl, followed, accompanied by “Because You Loved Me”, by Celine Dion. Special dances concluded with the bridal party joining Emily and Matt on the dance floor, accompanied by “That’s What Friends Are For”, by Dionne Warwick.
It was a wonderful evening at Laube Hall, which concluded with all of Matt and Emily’s friends and family joining them for the last dance of the evening, accompanied by their chosen song, “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”, by Aerosmith.
