Malek Haj-Hussein and Kara DeAngelis Wedding Reception at the LeMont in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

At 2 PM, on Sunday, August 12, 2018, Malek Haj-Hussein and Kara DeAngelis exchanged vows at Heinz Memorial Chapel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Their reception, held at  The LeMont, in Pittsburgh, immediately followed.

While their guests enjoyed hors-d’oeuvres and cocktails, Malek and Kara, along with their families and bridal party, joined Kristen Wynn, owner of  Kristen Wynn Photography, for a pre-introduction photo session.  Tim, owner of  Weekend Project Studios, was also on hand to record every special moment.

With the conclusion of cocktails, introductions kicked off, with parents and the bridal party being introduced to “Hideaway”, by Keiza.  Kara and Malek then made their grand entrance, dancing in to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”, by Stevie Wonder.

Following introductions, Malek and Kara shared a very special first dance as husband and wife, accompanied by their chosen song, “Love Is Here To Stay”, by Frank Sinatra.

After dinner, which was wonderfully prepared by the staff of The LeMont, the couple cut their wedding cake, while “How Sweet It Is”, by James Taylor, played in the background.

Kara then shared a special dance with her dad, Ron.  They started out slow, accompanied by “What A Wonderful World”, by Louis Armstrong.  Then, they picked up the pace, and concluded with “Do You Love Me”, by the Contours, much to the delight of their guests!

Malek also shared a special moment with his mom, Allison, dancing to their chosen song, “Last Song”, by Elton John.  Rounding out the special dances was Malek, along with his step-mom, Caree, dancing to “I Say A Little Prayer”, by Aretha Franklin.

The evening at The LeMont concluded with their family and all of their wonderful friends joining them on the dance floor, accompanied by their chosen final song, “Closing Time”, by Semisonic.

I had a blast with Kara and Malek, and it was a pleasure to be included in their wedding day!

Join me in wishing them all the best in their new life together!
