Saturday, June 23, 2012, was a beautiful day to celebrate the marriage of Rachel and Aaron! The 3:30 ceremony, with music provided by Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment, took place at Succop Conservancy in Butler, Pennsylvania, outside on the brick cul-de-sac. With the majestic Marcraig House as a backdrop, the ceremony was officiated by Reverend Sarah Robbins.
Following cocktails and conversation at the Marcraig House, introductions began, with their parents and bridal party being introduced to ”Say Hey, I Love You”, by Michael Franti and Spearhead, while Rachel and Aaron made their grand entrance, appropriately, to “Beautiful Day”, by U2.
I had the pleasure of working with my good friend and most excellent photographer, Katie Stutz, owner of Violet Veil Photography, who expertly provided the lens work for the evening.
After dinner, which was provided by the fine staff at Medure’s, Aaron and Rachel cut their wedding cake, accompanied by their chosen song, “Sugar, Sugar”, by The Archies, which was immediately followed by their first dance together as husband and wife, accompanied by “Come Rain Or Come Shine”, by Ray Charles.
Rachel and her dad, Michael, along with Aaron and his mom, Christine, then shared a very special dance together. The song they chose was the lovely, “Landslide”, by Fleetwood Mac.
The bridal party, along with all of their guests, then joined Aaron and Rachel on the dance floor to kick off open dancing with the “Cupid Shuffle”!
It was wonderful to be a part of Aaron and Rachel’s wedding day! The evening concluded with all of their great friends and family sharing the last dance of the evening with them, accompanied by their chosen song, “The Time/Dirty Bit”, by the Black Eyed Peas.
Aaron and Rachel will enjoy their honeymoon on a relaxing, exotic Caribbean cruise!
