Russell Hanby and Sandy Ritchie celebrated their wedding day on Saturday, December 21, 2019.  Their 4:00 wedding ceremony, located on-site at Shakespeare’s Restaurant and Pub, in Ellwood City, was officiated by Russell’s grandfather, Mr. Bill Hoag.

Following the ceremony, and while their guests enjoyed hors-d’oeuvres and cocktails, the couple, along with their families and bridal party, joined my good friend and photographer, Bethany Boarts, owner of Wedding By Bethany, for a pre-introduction photo session.

Introductions kicked off the reception, with parents and the bridal party entering to “What I Like About You”, by The Romantics.  Sandy and Russell then made their grand entrance, accompanied by “Jump Around”, by House Of Pain.

Following introductions, the traditional cutting of the wedding cake took place, with “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”, by Stevie Wonder, playing in the background.

After dinner, which was excellently prepared by the staff at Shakespeare’s, Russell and Sandy shared their first dance together as husband and wife, accompanied by their chosen song, “You’re My Home”, by Billy Joel.

Sandy and her dad, Dave then took to center stage, dancing to “Forever Young”, by Rod Stewart, followed by Russell sharing a special moment with his mom, Laura, and dancing to “The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me”, by Gladys Knight.

What a great evening at Shakespeare’s, and it was wonderful to be included in Sandy and Russell’s wedding day!  Their evening of fun and dancing concluded with all of their friends and family joining them on the dance floor, accompanied by their chosen song, “Millionaire”, by Chris Stapleton.

Join me in wishing Russell and Sandy all the best in their new life together!
